GROUP Quarterly Newsletter: Fall 2023

October 24, 2023

It’s been a remarkable few months for GROUP as we continue to excel in our commitment to safety and excellence. Join us in celebrating some of the achievements of our outstanding team members. Here’s to a successful third quarter!

Delivering Beyond Expectations

At a safety meeting for a project in Port Allen, Louisiana, our client gave our piling crew kudos on the cleanliness of their work site and how they worked as a team to keep safety as the top priority each day. We were proud to present this crew with the Teamwork  Challenge Coin!

ABC Louisiana Convention

GROUP had a great time attending the ABC Louisiana 2023 Convention at The Grand in Fairhope, Alabama. We’re proud to be a sponsor!

OSHA Safe & Sound Week

We celebrated Safe & Sound Week! We’re proud to maintain a reputation for safety. The safety of our crews, clients, and the communities in which we work remains our top priority every single day.

Better Together

Congratulations to Marvin Zeledon and Christopher Wilson, who were awarded “Be the Hero” Challenge Coins! These two gentlemen were observed working together to demo two large porches approximately 40 feet long each without incident. They communicated effectively, worked safely, and in a timely manner.

A Dedication to Safety

Rick Chirpich went above and beyond in exemplifying our core value of “Be the Hero” in the field. Rick submitted multiple entries in our 3rd Quarter Green Card Challenge, and one of his submissions truly stood out. He took it upon himself to provide corrective action and coaching for a Life Saving Rule, showing his unwavering dedication to safety and the well-being of his co-workers.

Work Hard, Bowl Hard

We’re much better at construction than bowling. Our office had a great afternoon of team building and friendly competition…and we’re happy to report it was injury-free. Safety First!

Green Card Challenge

David Peyton and Trenton Thompson have both made significant contributions to our 3rd Quarter Green Card Challenge, and we’ve awarded them with our “Safety” Challenge Coin. Their findings and swift implementation of corrective actions have made a real difference in maintaining a safe work environment.
