As we wrap up 2025, GROUP Contractors is proud to celebrate award-winning work delivered across two major industrial projects. This year’s recognition from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) highlights our team’s expertise, adaptability, and ability to deliver beyond expectations on every jobsite.
Shell Norco – GO1 Substation
Awards:
ABC Bayou 2025 Excellence in Construction Award
ABC Bayou 2025 Project of the Year
- Deep foundations and civil scope completed for a new electrical substation.
- Managed major constraints: buried obstacles, a 6,500 sq. ft. footprint, and several mid-construction redesigns.
- Placed 122 foundation piles in varying diameters and depths.
Energy Transfer Bog Project
Award:
ABC Pelican Excellence in Construction Award
- Installed 481 precast piles and 868 ft. of sheet piles.
- Used specific concrete mix engineered for facility’s ultra-low temperatures.
- Executed work efficiently within a narrow, active work zone and completed two weeks ahead of schedule.
